Recently, I made the argument that while Kent State finally snapped a 21-game losing streak, they are still one of the worst teams in FBS college football, and I think I made it pretty clear.
I also said that while Texas Tech being a 48.5 point favorite was too big of a number to cover, I said I wouldn’t bother putting money on Kent State to cover it.
Turns out I was wrong. The Golden Flashes were still bad, and were down 48-0 at halftime, but somehow, they found a way to lose 62-14, but still cover that spread at +48.5.
Meanwhile, I made the decision to pick Kennesaw State (+35.5) to cover at Indiana. Everyone’s favorite program to rebuild in EA Sports College Football 26 fell apart in the second half, losing by 47 after only trailing by 12 in the early 3rd quarter.
Safe to say those suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked sucked less than Kennesaw State.
The Golden Flashes are 22.5 point underdogs in their MAC opener at home against Buffalo Saturday, so let’s see if they can cover again.
